In February Troop 284 returned to Donner Summit State park for a night of snow camping! Lots of snow had fallen in the preceding days so we had plenty of options for where to build our snow caves. Luckily all the snow was already on the ground -- during our time there we had clear skies and warm(-ish!) temperatures. After an energetic afternoon of digging out our shelters we revived our spirits with a hearty chili dinner by the campfire. What a great experience.
