The Troop camped at Maud Whalen in Briones for a 2-night backpacking trip in October. As well as hiking the scouts practiced knots & lashings, and put the latter to good use in constructing a ladder / bridge to span the creek. Although fire regs meant no campfire, we brought our propane fire ring, so S'mores were still to be had!
